The company behind Properseas
Properseas is a brand, not a company. The company is Mavílio Aguiar, Unipessoal Lda, which holds the estate agency licence under which this website operates. The same company has worked the Madeira market for years under the imoaguiar brand; Properseas is how that work reaches buyers outside Portugal.
Licence and regulator
Estate agency activity in Portugal is licensed and regulated by IMPIC, I.P. – the Instituto dos Mercados Públicos, do Imobiliário e da Construção. Every licensed agency is issued an AMI number, and the register of licensed agencies is public.
Our licence is AMI 12360, held by Mavílio Aguiar, Unipessoal Lda.
